Takeoff
Lead UX Designer
Figma, Illustrator, Webflow
As a dominant player in the micro fullfillment eGrocery space, Takeoff required a branding refresh that would reflect their company growth, differentiate them from their competitors, and give their brand focus and consistency. My goal was to upgrade Takeoff's website with readily accessible information for potential clients, as well as bringing freshness, consistency, and creativity to the brand. In addition, it was necessary that the website have parity across all devices and be as easy to update as possible for the marketing team.
I conducted extensive competitor and market research and identified key areas of opportunity. From this research, I created and iterated on wireframes with key stakeholders to ensure each department had a voice in the redesign. Finally, I created a new brand strategy and direction that humanized Takeoff's tech and grocery heavy feel that emphasized approachability and aspirational eGrocery.
For this project, we targeted the eCommerce General Manager persona, as they would be the primary stakeholder for the purchase of the Takeoff solution. The website needed to ensure reliability and scalability, and ensure their frustrations around eGrocery would be solved.
